EFC5610 Ratings: 0.37kW to 30kW
The EFC5610 is available in 2 different Voltage ratings, 230V Single phase mains supply (220-240Vac) or 400V Three phase mains supply (380-480Vac). You must select the EFC5610 to match your Voltage supply as well as the Voltage and Current rating of your three-phase motor.
For Ratings above 4kW the EFC5610 is dual-rated. One Unit - two ratings, depending on the overload required to suit your application. For Ratings 4kW and below only 1 rating is available and is suitable for most applications.

EFC5610 Keypad Functionality
The EFC5610 has a removable Keypad which can be panel mounted if required. A keypad mounting kit is available along with connecting leads.

EFC5610 Control Terminals and Default Wiring
External I/O, pushbuttons or potentiometer can be wired directly into the EFC5610 control terminals for remote control. The Terminals are plug-in making the wiring and installation of the unit quick and easy

At its default settings the EFC5610 is in local control ie controlled from the Keypad. The configuration below gives a basic example of remote control which can be easily set up using the keypad. For those unfamiliar with the EFC5610 our Easy Start Guide gives clear step by step instructions on how to do this

EFC5610 Installation Guidelines
Frame Sizes B to E can be DIN-rail Mounted. All units are IP20 therefore the EFC5610 must be mounted in a suitable enclosure with adequate ventilation. Any dust must be non-conducting otherwise this will damage the unit.
Up to 4kW the EFC5610 is also available in a 'Cold Plate' format. This variation of the EFC5610 has the same functionality but differs physically as it does not have a heatsink. In this configuration the EFC5610 unit can be totally enclosed which is useful in very harsh environments.
EFC5610 Options and Accessories
All EFC5610 units can be fitted with one Option Card Mounting Module - this module can hold up to 2 option cards. If Dynamic Braking is required at 30kW or above External Braking Units are available.
