9 Ohms x 3000Watts (3kW) Dynamic Braking Resistor with terminal cover and thermal trip. 
Application: When connected to a suitable Inverter drive this will add braking to the drive system, by absorbing energy returning from the load.

Overload: 460% for 10 seconds every 100 Seconds, or as shown in the data sheet linked below.
Maximum Overload:  Limited by the brake chopper Voltage to 11.1kW for 230V Drives.
Tolerance: -0 +5%.
Voltage: 1000V DC or AC rms.

Enclosure: IP20 when mounted (Open to rear).
