Bosch Rexroth ctrlX CORE X3 is an Industrial Controller which is part of the ctrlX CORE Series. The ctrlX Core X3 has an Open Control Linux based software platform and embedded Ethernet fieldbus allowing the addition of ctrlX I/O modules and other external devices
- Using the Linux based ctrlX OS Operating system, bespoke programs can be created or existing approved APPs can be purchased along with their licenses. Multiple APPs can be added to a single ctrlX CORE X3 without additional programming as the ctrlX CORE X3 has an Integrated Data Layer which is able to manage the internal communication between the APPs
- The ctrlX CORE X3 can be expanded with optional I/O modules for additional functionality such as a PLC. Internet based communication can be established to the ctrlX CORE X3 for remote access and a single HMI can also be directly connected
What is supplied:
1 x ctrlX CORE X3 Industrial Controller. Base Unit with no Licenses.
What is Required:
1 x 24V Power Supply Unit (18V minimum to 31.2Vdc Maximum, 320mA). Power requirement is for the CORE X3 unit only.
External Devices including I/O modules for applications such as a PLC
APPS and associated Licenses to suit your specific requirements
- ctrlX APPS are available to download from the ctrlX OS Store (link). These can be downloaded and used without a license for 10 days. For continued use a license is required; please see a selection of licenses below which we have available. Please contact us for other Licenses if required.
- ctrlX Hardware Modules are available to expand the functionality of the unit. Please see below for a selection I/O Modules which we have available. Please contact us for other Hardware Modules if required.
- If you are unsure what APPs or hardware suits your requirements ctrxX Works APP (link) gives you access to a virtual controller (ctrlX CORE virtual) allowing you to try your specific requirements on a Windows based PC before making any purchases
